The SCRA Portal - and Vegas Tow Show!

This month we are focusing on the launch of our SMD Customer Portal from earlier this year.  So far, the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive. Jeff Caffarel, LienTek Solutions CFO says “. . .  The SMD online system is simple and straightforward”. We are getting this same reaction from our customers across the country who rely upon Service Member Data for their SCRA compliance needs. This week, we will be at the  American Towman Las Vegas Tow Show  in  booth (D6) and say hello. We would love to meet you in person and show you how our service works. 

So what is the big deal? Why are we so proud of our new platform? Well, first, we now offer tiered pricing that fits your business. From the small Class A tower to the large Class E tower you decide which monthly plan fits your needs and you can rely upon a fixed cost each month. Each tier also allows you to  take advantage of the added features like active duty rechecks and waivers. At SMD we believe that you know your business needs best and will make the right decision when provided with transparent pricing information.

Second, you can now upload your document that provides the name and address of the last registered owner (RO)  for each vehicle being sold at auction/lien sale on your own time in the cloud from anywhere in the world. That means your auction staff person can do this work during the typical work hours M-F. Or, if it works better for you and your business, the night dispatcher or weekend vehicle release associate can do the same work. There are no complicated online sharing tools and you’re not tied to only sending key files to SMD M-F from 8am-5pm. This flexibility allows you to manage your workflow in the best possible manner for your operational requirements. 

Third, you get your results fast and directly to your email inbox and the results are available online for review and record purposes. Those records will be there for you if you need them all in one place, right at your fingertips.  Once you upload Service Member Data gets to work. After we complete the initial research to determine the active-duty military status of all of the RO’s you sent to us, you receive a simple notification telling you that your files are ready to review. 

The features that I have outlined in this post are the result of listening to our customers. You asked us to simplify the way we performed our services for you and we worked hard to make that happen. I want to thank the tow operators that worked with us through beta testing the new platform and gave us constructive feedback.
