New Portal and Pricing
Posted January 7th, 2026 by Peter Lukevich, JD
The new year brings exciting changes to Service Member Data (SMD)! A new and easy to use customer portal is now up and running and we are able to serve our customers in an even more efficient, cost effective, and accurate manner. Now customers will be able to manage their own file uploads and track upcoming and previous sales.
For over six years SMD has relied upon sharing files with customers. This has worked well, but we listened to customer input and created a system that will require fewer emails and touchpoints and provide more universal access for big and small operators.
We also created this system with customer service and responsiveness in mind all the while providing a simple and fair pricing model. We believe that the new year will present a great opportunity to serve existing and new customers for many years to come.
With the roll out of the new portal, SMD has also created a tiered pricing system that will allow operators to choose a level of pricing that fits best for them and provides the greatest opportunity to stay compliant with the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). You can view our pricing page here. Each level provides a flat fee per month that allows for registered owner searches and provides for SCRA waivers when active duty members are found.
We are confident that we are the best partner for you in SCRA compliance in the country. You can start 2026 by making your company compliant with the SCRA and clicking the “Sign Up” button on the tier that is right for you. As always, if you have any questions, please contact me directly at peter@servicememberdata.com. I will do my best to get you the information you need to complete your application as quickly as possible.
As this new year begins, we want to give a big thank you to our current customers and express how excited we are to meet and work with future customers in year seven of serving the towing industry nationwide. We wish you the very best in 2026.
Stay safe.
